| The course runs along the River Thames under the watchful eye of Windsor Castle. This is a nine hole course, with fifteen tees, so only three holes are repeated on the back nine. At 6087 yards it is not a course that can be taken for granted, and as the Pros find out when they play, it commands respect. As a relatively flat parkland course, it is also easy walking and provides an enjoyable day's golf for all golfers, irrespective of age and handicap. |
At Datchet Golf Club you will never be short of a friend to play with as there are roll-ups every day from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is traditionally a competition day and these are held monthly during the winter and approximately every third week in summer. There are also monthly mid-week competitions plus a number of mixed events usually followed by a very sociable dinner. The club's social calendar is very active with Quiz and Race Nights, BBQ's and many Dinner Dances, as well as regular Sunday lunches. |

| Datchet Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. There is a very good practice area where your long and short game can be fine tuned, and the Professionals of our Golf Academy are always on hand to give expert advice and tuition. It has a fine Clubhouse, completed in 1998 following a fire that destroyed the old, mainly wooden structure, and now has excellent bar and catering facilities. The clubhouse is also available for private hire and those special occasions. |
Since 1890 Datchet Golf Club has been providing a tough challenge for everyone that plays the course. Discreetly tucked away, just a lob wedge from the centre of Datchet Village, you will be warmly welcomed by the members and staff alike. We hope to see you there. |
